  Rolfing Session Process

Your Rolfer aceesses posture and walking at the begining and at the end of each session.

In sessions, Rolfing involves touching the skin, feeling around for "imbalances" in tissue texture, and separating "fascial layers that adhere and muscles that have been pulled out of position by stress, strain or injury.

Rolfer uses direct finger, arm, and elbow myofascial techniques on the body. The feeling of the touch is very slow and gentle for a reciever. Your rolfer will adjust the quality of the stroke for each indivisual.

Myofascial sheets surrounding our muscles, organs, nerves
, and throughout the body.

Rolfing(R)- Structual Integration

Basic Rolfing has 10 sessions in general. However, Keiji offers 12 sessions at this therapy studio. He adds two movement sessions; after 3rd and 7th session, to achieve a functional goal. After the body in structure changes, a function of the body also should change. In the movement session, he uses exercises to open up sansation of a deep intrinsic muscle so that structual change can come along with the function in daily basis. The effect of rolfing sessions become much more lasting.
